Driver Safety Tip: Don't Pull Your Tooth Out While Driving on the Highway

Distracted driving due to texting, phone calls, eating and tuning the radio are activities well known to contribute to motor vehicle accidents. In fact, just yesterday, I saw a woman taking a selfie of herself and her dog while driving down a busy Phoenix street. However, this is a first - the Alabama Highway Patrol reports that a semi-truck driver crashed on the highway while removing his hands from the steering wheel in order to pull out a loose tooth. The tooth was found in his pocket as evidence.
