Police say 2 pit bulls attacked Phoenix woman

I know what some people say "these dogs aren't bad, they just have bad owners." While surely there are nice well behaved pit bulls out there (in fact, I have met some.) Pit bulls attack disproportionately and when they attack, they often injure people more severely. We handle as many as 20 dog bite cases at a time and pit bulls certainly cause the most severe injuries. Some pit bulls are nice dogs, but they do more than their fair share of the mauling.
